Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions
Based on the Marvel Comics superhero Spider-Man, Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions is an action-adventure game that was released in 2010. Four separate Spider-Man characters that each come from a different universe in the Marvel Comics multiverse are under the power of the players. One of the four Spider-Men in the movie was portrayed by each of the previous Spider-Man voice actors, Neil Patrick Harris, Christopher Daniel Barnes, Dan Gilvezan, and Josh Keaton.
Spider-Man: Friend or Foe
A 2007 action-adventure beat ’em up computer game called Spider-Man: Friend or Foe is based on the Spider-Man character from Marvel Comics.
Characters and designs in the game were influenced by Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy, but the story is not canon. The game can be played by two players, one of whom controls Spider-Man and the other an ally.
Using P.H.A.N.T.O.M.s, terrifying monsters made by fusing symbiotes with holographic technology, an unknown bad guy intends to rule the globe.
Spider-Man 3
This villain has kidnapped and brainwashed Spider-adversaries Man’s in order to obtain meteor shards for his army. After being hired by S.H.I.E.L.D, Spider-Man is recruited by the Avengers to go get the shards on his own and find additional friends.
Action-adventure video game Spider-Man 3 was launched in 2007 and is based on the Spider-Man character from Marvel Comics. It was released on Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, Wii, Nintendo DS, Game Boy Advance, and PlayStation Portable on October 16, 2007, all on May 4 (the same day the movie was released).
The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions were created by Treyarch and released by Activision, while other versions were created by Vicarious Visions.
The Amazing Spider-Man
From Treyarch’s version, Beenox ported the game to Windows. Regrettably, the Xbox and GameCube versions of the game were scrapped because of weak Xbox sales and a lack of funding for the GameCube.
The Amazing Spider-Man is an open-world video game based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man and the 2012 movie of the same name. Beenox created it, and Activision released it. It was made available in North America on June 26, 2012, for the Nintendo D.S., PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, Android, iOS, and Microsoft Windows, and in Europe on June 29, 2012.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2
The Amazing Spider-Man: Ultimate Edition was made available for the Wii U in March 2013 in North America and Europe. In November 2013, the PlayStation Vita version was made available. The video game based on the motion picture, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, was launched in April 2014.
Spider-Man: Web of Shadows
The 2014 movie The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is about the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man. It follows the follow-up to 2012’s The Amazing Spider-Man and is based on the same canon as the films. Additionally, it builds upon the movie’ plot by incorporating figures and components from the Spider-Man comic books as well as other elements from the Marvel Universe.
Spider-Man: Web of Shadows, a 2008 film based on the Spider-Man comic book character, was released. Spider-Man: Web of Shadows Amazing Allies Edition for the Nintendo D.S. is a beat ’em up in the Metroidvania style, whereas Spider-Man: Web of Shadows Amazing Allies Edition for the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable is a 2.5D side-scrolling beat ’em up. This was the last Spider-Man game released for the PlayStation 2.
Spider-Man: Edge of Time
All three versions share a number of features in common, including a scenario that is similar across all three, the ability to summon companions while fighting, and moral decisions that change the course of the story. Like most previous Spider-Man games, the plot of Web of Shadows centres on a symbiote invasion that poses a threat to Manhattan, which Spider-Man must thwart with the assistance of a number of odd allies.
Beenox created and distributed the video game Spider-Man: Edge of Time in 2011 for the Wii, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Nintendo D.S. The game was directed by Ramiro Belanger and Gerard Lehiany.
Ultimate Spider-Man
Spider-Man 2099 follows Parker and O Hara as they fight a new enemy across space and time and attempt to save both universes as well as stop Parker’s death from occurring. The film’s story was written by Peter David, Ramiro Belanger, and G. rard Lehiany. Regrettably, the 2010 video game Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions is the only place where Spider-Man Noir and Ultimate Spider-Man are discussed.
Ultimate Spider-Man is a 2005 action-adventure video game based on the Spider-Man comic book and Marvel Comics character.
The Activision-created game was made available for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, Microsoft Windows, Game Boy Advance, GameCube, and Nintendo DS in September 2005. These versions, created by Treyarch for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox, are very different from the handhelds created by Vicarious Visions.
Beenox converted the Xbox and PlayStation 2 versions of the game to Windows. Moreover, Sony produced a limited edition PlayStation 2 version of the game that included extras including a making-of documentary and an interview with Spider-Man co-creator Stan Lee.
